Description

Gloriously Glossy and Luxuriously Lustrous Guitar Facing Material. Based on our popular drum wrap, but re-developed for use as a Guitar Wrap or Guitar Skin. Walopus Guitar Wrap – Guitar Skins have the same gleaming top finish as our Drum Wrap, but feature a re-engineered back layer with pressure sensitive adhesive.

The following step is optional and only recommended for wraps marked with an asterisk (*) These wraps are slightly thicker (Tougher to cut) and benefit from sealing the edges. In this case we also painted a border around the wrap. (Not necessary). Any oil or solvent based paint, lacquer or enamel is suitable to seal with.

here we are using Rust-Enamel. Model Paint, Nail Polish, Poly-urethane, Tung-Oil, or any other solvent/oil based product is just as good. Sealing the edges is not necessary but the asterisk-marked skins will be more durable and long-lasting It also helps with aestetically blending the wrap with the body.

Tip: Sometimes sanding is the easiest way to get perfect edges on pickguards and covers when using the thicker wrap. (*)
